I was wondering if anyone knew anything about renewing tax without insurance?

My situation is that i dont use my polo anymore so i cancelled my insurance but i need to tax it in order to sell it, you normally need to show your insurance certificate but i wont have one? but then thats ridiculous if i cant tax it just because its not insured.

You can't get tax without proof of valid insurance. It's meant to make it more difficult to drive uninsured. Like those who don't bother with insurance really bother with tax.

You can however insure it, receive the cover note, get you tax and cancel the insurance.

most policies have a 14 day cooling off period, so it'll not cost you anything.

I got my tax this yea with no insurance..

Although it was SORN and then I put it back on... So had only insured it that day and had no certificate as of then!!! Got away with it :0)
