Try: Brentacre, Quinn Direct and Chris Knott insurance. All should get you a discount if you mention Clubpolo and I got £950 with Chris Knott with GT conversion in a Mk2 with all mods declared and 0 NCB. Phone around more than one to drive them down

Don't forget Adrian Flux, who again offer Club Polo discount.

Whilst I converted my Mark3 to a GT rather than a Mark2, besides Brentacre, Flux were the only ones who could get insurance below £1k. I'm 20, 2 years NCB with all modifications declared paying £685 TPFT.

The only thing I need to mention with Adrian Flux is check the terms of insurance very carefully over the phone when asking for a quote. I was given a quote which I was happy with, paid the deposit, then recieved a letter stating I needed an immobiliser fitted or my theft cover would be withdrawn. I've heard this to be reasonably common on their modified vehicles policies.

Karl.
