i was talking to me mate about my engine conversion and he said i might get hassle from the DVLA when it comes to getting the log book changed.

He said they might ask for a SVA test ??

Has anybody with a converion been asked todo this ???

or is it a case of just changing my log book and sending it off ??

You won't need na SVA unless you make changes to the chassis.

For a normal conversion, just declare the changes on the V5.

you mate sounds like a dummy tbh!!

you only need a sva test if there are changes to the chasiss structure!

just change the details on the log book!
