Hi guys,

Driving to work this morning doing and i noticed a vauxhall vectra police car parked up on a half on a curb on the side of the road when i went past the car had a very small cctv looking camera pointing out the back and one out the front and the two officers seemed to be looking at the dash in the middle. Is this a speed camera or just a surveillance one do we know?

I dont know whether they wer sat there clocking people or just calling in at a house then getting back in the car or what! They were not activeely pointing anything at cars just this small CCTV looking thing out the back

i think u will find its one of 3 camera's

1.Speed but i don't think so if you were speeding they would of followed and pull you.

2.Number plate camera that check for nicked cars no insurance ect.

3.Tax disc reader.

Now if you were not doing any thing wrong at the time you will be ok

Did you notice any other police cars further up the road?

Most likely a ANPR site.
