the answer to your question is that you would be fooked as you live in london, i had the same problem, pass plus helped reduce it, and i was older than you at the time.

have you tried putting the policy under another name for a cheaper qoute? with your name as additional driver? or add parents name onto your policy?

get on direct lines website and get a quote with some1 else as the main driver! got mine cheaper that way and still gettin no claims!

I am 17, live in somerset also driving a 1.0 - am a named driver on dads insurance and is £800...

Being a named driver does drastically lower your premium though, and personally, I'd rather have my own policy.
