the wipers were "made" , by cutting the polo ones down, then taking the ends off golf aero arms and making them fit..... the blades are just cut down etc..... its hard to describe.

easist way is to buy the aero wipers that fit the standard arms...

well mike, i dont think you can get much cheaper than a 1.0 polo mate...... i fill it up at the start of the month and it lasts til the end!!!! well over 300 miles to a tank (and i sit in traffic alot)

small update...

wanted the front to look that bit lower from front on, so instead of going for the gti splitter that i was going to be going for...

i decided to go for 2 16v ones, got one from a mate for free..... got it sprayed.... then fixed the 2 of them together.... nothing too fancy but i got the look was after.... some pics

closer... colour doesnt look that different normally...

i have now owned the car 6 months now.... all of which have been trouble free (except the gamma vw headunit)... done just over 2000 miles in that time....

ohh.... and the paint on everything apart from the bumpers is original.... pritty good!!!

i have only seen this once before phil....

it would look good with the first one smoothed.... this way was just cheaper!!!! ha ha what a mink!!!

thanks alot. the just flipped the other one round and fitted the two with bolts, big washers and nuts! then along the whole front just as much self tappers as possible.... as there is not much of a lip

1litres! the way to go, just got one! is tjhat in dragon green? iv just dwn graded from my old valver but they r still greta cars. the aero wipers rock, iv got some too. is the black dash hard 2 fit?

Good idea...but as said above..smoothing it all in would look good...esp if you smooth the entire bumper

slight modification to the lip of the clusters (sanding them down), make the hole for the clusters bigger and swap two wires over! quite easy!
