Insurance on a G40 conversion

Featured Replies

I'm 18 and have been driving about a year and a half, with 1 yrs ncb. My insurance is up in a couple of months, so i decided to have a browse for some quotes for my GT. To my suprise, MoreThan quoted me an annual premium of £500, less than half what i'm paying now!

This got me thinking. I'd love to do a G40 conversion but would companies even consider me at 18? I think maybe when i'm 19 later this year companies like Brentacre or Adrian Flux might insure me, but until then i'm a bit left in the dark.

So my question is, are there any 18/19 yr olds insured on a G, and if so which company?!

Cheers

Tom

Nah not looking hopeful. Tried elephant and they wanted £2000 4 an original G40 TPFT, so haven't even bovered trying a conversion as yet.

Surely there must be some-one out there...

I'm 19 and i got a g insured it for 1600 tpft through moneysupermarket.com it would be cheaper to insure a real g40 than a conversion anyway, dont ask me why but i have tried, hope that helps.dan
