Norwich Union Insurance

Featured Replies

Well I'm insured with norwich union through endsleigh.

What are they like with mods? I'm mainly interested in a 40mm drop and running my car on bike carbs in the future...

Cheers for any help

I insured my GT with them a few years ago, but they wouldnt allow me to have more than 3 mods.

Correct... they allow you 3 mods, or at least 3 'groups' of mods.... one of mine consists of "exhaust modification" which encompasses filter, manifold, cat and rest of exhaust.....

They are very competitive on price and haven't done me wrong yet!

How much did the mods add on to your premium?

I think it was about £100 a group.... (so max of £300 extra)

Hello - I work for norwich union direct, for mods it a max of three, and normally for each mod you will get charged about an extra 10% of your premuim

does anyone no if RAC take mods and how many and how much ?

p.s sorry to hijack yr post but i cant start new post of my own for some reason

Cheers Andy :D

I dont know. How do you count the mods, though? I mean, with an enlarged engine, uprated brakes, exhaust, fuelling and suspension have to be fitted by default. So i take it Norwich Union dont insure engine enlargements?

10% for my alloys... wasnt too bad but annoying nonetheless....

their premiums have gone up anyway so i moved away from them... and u can never speak to an english speaking person.... i could speak better english when i was 2
