MOT Requirements

Featured Replies

Hey there,

Just wondering if anyone out there could tell me if I could pass the MOT test with a few things 'wrong' with my car...

- Central locking pump has failed, need to get a new one

- Door lock rod has broken on the passenger side. Can't gain access with a key, need to open it from inside

- LH taillight flickers on and off when it should be on, can't figure out why it is!

Thanks in advance!

Hey thanks for the quick reply

Any ideas on why the rear tail light would flicker? I've had a look at the bulb and tried swapping it with the other side, but it still flickers

Thanks

i would take a look at the connections mate, see if any wires are coming loose? also check the earths maybe? I'm no expert though

possibly corroded connectors? Pull the plug out of the light cluster and clean the connectors on the light cluster with a piece of sandpaper so they are shiny.
