I've just been getting some quotes from companies for when I get my first years no claims, and found that I can add some of my mates to Quinn Direct, and it costs no more! I'm 18, and even when I put on a 17 year old mate it didn't make any difference to the policy. I'm on his policy at the moment, but when he told me I thought he'd had to pay extra, but obviously not. OK, some of us might not want our mates on our policy, but I'll definately be adding a couple when I renew (if it's with Quinn).

I added my nan (few decades of NCB) to try and drop the quote and nothing.

quinn are an odd company man. you probably have 3rd party extension too

Try elephant/admiral - added both my parents as named drivers on my policy (45+, license for 15+ years each) dropped my quote by £200-£300

Only works for the first two though, try adding another mature adult with no claims and it doesn't make any difference :(

ooo i may try that, then i know my car will get driven whilst I'm away at uni.

Scrap that just had quick look then, i cant get a quote off them becuase i have a medical condition, and i have pending motoring convictions dam it

try putting your gfs on you are insurance even if you dont intend them to drive the car, i lowered my ex's insurance by a couple of hundred!
