I'm absolutely fuming today, dove 7 miles to the bodyshop all excited and everything, and it hasnt even been done. in primer it looks sweet but he cant get hold of a lad to remove the glass he s really taking the p1ss

o well at least ill be really excited when its finally done it best be ready for the polo show, cos that is the most important to me, never been before,

i sure have, I'm saving during the winter so i can have my bonnet and roof done and get a new interior, intially i was thinking of a retrim but I'm really thinking of getting a mk4 golf leather recaros :-D :-D

o and I'm after a pipewerx exhaust and race land manifold aswell

it would be great if i have them all done for ed38 next year fingers crossed

bit of an update

i got a new rear badge from the stealers yesterday, oooof its blinged up good styleee

i also ordered a gti splitter which is coming in tmz

i will need to fit that and my new boot and fix my elec window for the show, happy days!!!!

to start I've had my camber shims on for a while now but i think i forgot to mention them

i had my new boot and splitter on the day before the poloshow if anyone noticed, for those that never made it let me know what you think

dunno whether i mention but I'm also running a 280mm g60 brake set up

i like the stance at the mo but i want to go alot lower at the mo i am getting a small bit of rubbing on the bumper edges so my plan for the winter is to crack the stance by fitting some ditchfinders in 185/45/15 variety. hopefully i can sort out the interior, I've got a few ideas yet but I've been speaking to a lad at the bodyshop and his brother works for a trim company and his best mates a tire fitter, doesnt get much better than that tbh :-D :-D

taylor is gonna run his plate recess in the 16v bumper and french it in so once will look good!

yours is how i eventually want mine, to match my front end with the smaller recess! when i saw it at the polo show i was drooling!

ah no way, you should have banged on the window lol i was looking for your car but couldnt see it, i was dying to speak to loads a people but i was too scared lol so we ended up sitting in the car, i always tell her not to sit in the car aswell lol sounds nasty

as for scrubbage it used to rub on the back of the arch by the bumper but now it rubs on about 7mm on the inner edge of the bumper which is bugger all really, but i want it lower so I'm gna run 185s next year cos my bbs are coming off for the steelies to come back on, I'm gna have a go at polishing the whole baskets myself.

crispy- your front bumper looks sweet, I'm trying to thing of different ideas to do mine but most things have been done.

thread is in the meets section! usually a great turnout thru summer we were seeing a full carpark 50-60 cars!

as the nights are drawing in people sometimes leave a little earlier but it draws in people from all over, great atmosphere!

I'm very tempted to come up, prob over an hours drive but it will be worth it

my car wasn't there the box wasn't sorted in time and i ended picking up the new box at the show! you going to players or oxford edition at all? mine just catches a little bit on the arch at the moment but i'll get them rolled soon enough and keep on running 185's despite what my sensible side tells me!

I'm going with 185s cos i dnt drive like a bat out of hell all the time so they should be sound plus i want to slam the biatch!, with a little bumper trimming i should be sorted.

not going to sell it anymore i think i was just tempted by that where it was off the road for so long but now i'm happy again!

defo needs to come lower.

at the moment the car goes out then in (like a hour glasss) looking from the back

drop it so the archesflare out and line up with the shims.
