If anyone has or knows where to buy some mk3 polo subframes that retain the OEM slide feature that would be great...

Also if you have a picture so i can look at the bolt locations that would be great...

cut the bottom off some normal polo seats, weld bars across them and then bolt the buckets to them. The only problem is the bottoms of the seats will be wider than the buckets so you can see the edges at the sides of the seats which isn't too tidy! Still, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying proper subframes.

The guy who i got them from had started welding some std items to subframes - ill have a look at my interior later and see what i can do - thanks for the heads up though guys...

good idea,once ic cut frames from polo seats is there any way to attatch them to my new seats without welding?

super glue them to the floor.

yeah you're better of using the legs from an old polo seat, as some of the after market subframes are very heavy and a quite a bad fit, so they seats wobble about in the rails

I guess you could drill holes through and use nuts & bolts. But to be honest I'd be a bit wary of doing that, they need to be as strong as possible.
