Hey guys, my heater randomly turned off last night wen driving trying to de-mist me window in the rain.

checked it this morning and found it to be a blown fuse matching to the heating system.

so i put a new fuse in turned them on again and they worked for about 2 seconds and the fuse blew again!!!!!

What should i do? I'm not a electician but I'm certain theres obviously a short sumwere? i havnt touched anything which makes it even wierder

What car? Mk 1/2/3 it's the resistor pack on the blower!

Anything newer I can't tell you as I have never worked on them

right just stressed myself right out, hate taking things to bits!!!

the motor works, i took it out and tested it on a battery.

all the wiring is cushty.

the buttons 1,2,3 dnt work but 4 does??

i guess i need a new control panel thingy bobby??

I am having problems with my girlfriends mk4. She has no heaters at all. I have tried the fuse but that ok, anyone have any ideas?
