Recently my passenger window has broke or so I think but wondering whether you guys have encountered this before?

The window will go down but quite slow, when putting the window up it goes very slow and nearly to the top then gives up and takes the window back down to about half way and sits there. Basically the motor seems to be working but hasnt got enough power or there is a jam.

Any ideas?

Id love an answer to this too, my drivers side does EXACTLY the same thing!!! I'm gonna get it looked at this week, when i find out i'll let you know!

yeah had da same prob da ova day on my drivers side :( stuck dwn 4 bout half hr thn went up but dnt seem 2 shut proper no more... passenger side died ages ago :(

I went through this with my car too. It eventually it broke and i need a new window motor! bummer.

Never knew so many had this problem lol. my problem is my passenger window has never worked since i bought it and my drivers side struggles up to nearly shut then backs down again.

I found that the drivers side may be the guides are a bit stiff against the window stopping it coming up may just need some wd40.

The passenger side wont work at all, when i press the button i hear a clicking from the motor but nothing works. May be a loose wire or duff motor not sure.

i have the same problems... anyone found out what their problem was caused by ? clips or motor

The window runners might just need lubricating - if the motor feels resistance it might 'think' something is in the way e.g. your arm, and drop back as a safety measure.

Managed to sort this guys but because I sold the car I never thought to post my findings. It happened to just be a clip that needed pushing back into place. It must have been alittle out of line which made the window play up.

yeah my passenger side has too, but I've looked at it, the clip fell off so the window jumped off the runner, glued it back on, lasted for a bit, but fell off again, gonna put the clip back in at the weekend.

Hope that saves some money for people....
