try quinn direct insurance, they are normally quite good, they have given me good prices for my last 2 cars and my current one!!!

Yeah they are good but only let down is you dont get windscreen cover unless you live in ireland and if you have modified u have to mess about getting an engineers report form filled out n stamped n getting it sent back to them. But mods are free unless its an engine mod

If you reckon you aren't gonna mod your car, directline might be able to offer you a good deal.

liverpool victoria is very good

elephant.co.uk is the one I'm with found them quite cheap and they not too bothered about a few light mods i have, never tried them with any major mods so cant comment on that side. worth a shot tho.

Quinn direct are the best i've found so far. I'm still on provisional and i have a 1.0 polo E and they quoted me £619 and tescos quoted me something like £1200 which was rediculous. Also asked them about a few minor mods e.g. lowering and they said it would effect my insurance at all.

my cheapest quote this year was with the AA! or the postoffice

my best quote on the polo was Admiral!
