Are these a straight swap? I've found a set for £45 posted which seems fairly steep?

They're not a straight swap to mk3's you need to do a little bit of modifying but not that much really so I reckon it would be similar on a mk2.

I've never looked closely at 'rocco mirrors, but theres one down the scrappy at the moment I might get them if they're still there and I like them.

You need to file one of the mounting holes in the door, but other than that they go straight on!

They are not a straight fit. First you have to swap the polo cables onto the rocco mirrors and then you have to file one of the mounting holes on the door to get the right alignment.

Can you run them without cables? I have tweeters in the adjuster holes on the door cards and run full manual mirrors...
