Does anyone know if there is a way of opening hella led's up?

My mate has just told me that you can open up mk3 golf headlights by heating them up in the oven because the glue melts, just need to know whether the hella lens is stuck down or not?

don't think it'll be easy i think it'll be a dremel job and glue to stick it back after

Why do you want to do it, If you tell us that we might be able to figure something out

it tends to work on headlights as the glass can take the heat...the rear lights will probably deform with the heat...

You trying to remove the red filter?

I would like to colour code the Led bit green to match my car, sounds like it can't be done would have looked soo cool
