I'm being offered the above for cheappp...minimum usage, looks mint..

the seller strongly feels that it will fit on2 my car - 1.4 16v mk4 ?!

Will it fit? Any side effects? Will it perform properly?

Any help would be much appreciated

Don't see why not, all that really changes with induction kits is the pipe diameter as far as I'm aware. If you buy it you may or may not have to get an adaptor to match the bores.

There will be minimum power gains on a standard engine, consumption may increase but don't be fooled into thinking that means it must be making more power.

woohoo a reply! I'v had this debate about power/fuel consumption with all...and i've got mixed opinions. The vast majority say its due to the sound and the fact that the person driving wants 2 hear, that fuel consumption is harmed i.e driving it harder!

I know its not going 2do anything 2 power...

Its only gonna b on the car for a few months until the BMC arrives anyway!
