right as in title i wanted to take the mk2 coupe s material off the seat with a crap bolster and put it on a mk3 g40 seat with good bolster.

can it be done is it easy enough

Probably not, IIRC, the g40 has 3 peices of foam in the base (base and 2 bolsters), whereas the Coupe S has a sculpted peice of foam for the whole base.

I seem to remember vagparts can get new foams.
