whos doing the swap

sorry, dont like it atall.

Thanks Vinnie, tis appreciated

The conversion is being done by my personal mechanic who is out Essex way, fingers crossed my husbands inheritance comes through sooner rather than later to get it sorted :unibrow:

jamakabi1- Cheers for the opinion, just wondered what it was that you disliked so much about her?

Each to their own though eh :doubt:

20vT seems nice. 290 seems nicer.

rear lights stick out like a sore thumb, need to be toned down abit if you ask me.

cant quite put my finger on it but something seems odd or missing. think its the wheel/stance combination. could just be the pictures.

either way i wouldn't say no

Ripley-

100% agree with you in the rear lights, i hate them lol

Was a case of the original's were damaged at Citygate (although i couldn't prove it! ) and were letting in water, i was told it would cost £150ish for a new set as you cannot buy individual lights and these were on Ebay for £70 delivered, so was no contest for a short fix, I am looking into getting new rear lights and will probably tint them rather than go after market again!

Can i just say though, thank you so much for your honest opinion, tis great to get feedback, be it good or bad and i appreciate the post

Roll on August!!!

vag lights from a dealer are about £35+vat

p.s nice car mate

I think i need to have a word with Citygate then, as they definitely said over £150 mark :x

Will look into that, cheers fella :-p

Oh and if you took away the rear lights body kit and sun strip there is still loads of extra bits done to her which would modified ;)

I quite like it, it different, not a fan of the rear lights but if you like them thats cool, sayin that theres not much choice on rear lights for the 9n

Well thought i had best update this now i've had a couple more things done, she's been lowered on coil overs and had a subtle tint all round.

Still waiting to have the engine done as they seem to be like rocking horse poo to find :?

Apart from the rear lights (which are being changed)

I think its looovely

Very smooth ;)

ONly commet in the front bumper on the side has what looks like the start of a colour coded splitter but it isnt...

I think that should try to be smoothed out maybe??

In general TOP MARKS

Same colour as me too I think ;)

Hey i think the car looks great!,although i agree with everyone on the rear lights. A quick question tho do u have any problems with the wheels scrubbing on standard or new suspension? The reason i ask is I've gt a set of 17's frm my old car which I'm dying to put on but I've been told they wont fit!? nobody seems to be able to answer my question either.many thanks if you can help!

Everyone told me that my 8x17's wouldn't go on too, but with a 3mm spacer on the front they cleared the suspension fine.

But then i was determined to get the wheels on

She's on 7x17's now (as the others are being refurbed) and even with the lowering she's still fine, hope that helps :D

Oh and thanks for the great comments on Jazzy tis appreciated,

Hiya i got the cheap TA Technnix ones as fingers crossed will be looking to go air ride in the next year, the rides ALOT stiffer and my lordy you feel it if you drive over a cigarette butt in the road! BUT... she handles like shes on rails its fantastic, i do recommend them for the price :-)
