MOTing a low car...

Featured Replies

anyone know the best place to go to get my polo MOT'd ?? raising the coilovers seems like a ball ache... ideally somewhere with a flat bed ramp (one of them scissor type ones?) or a pit!

anyone know of one in london ? who may also skip the break test rollers and drive it round the block instead ??

everything else has been put back to legal! :paranoid:

I know a place in Barnet (30 mins away from ace cafe)

they have a drive on ramp. (sits completely flush to the floor)

however, like most MOT centers their jack gets in the way.

if you give them a hand to push your car up so the jack can go under your car then its no problem.

their brake pit can easily take a mk4 dropped 60.

if not just take your bumper off. pain in the ass yes but that life.

Also heard good things about Yash. they are more towards the wembly area

it really isnt that much effort to raise your car up a bit i feel your being lazy lol
