yesterday i fitted 2 sub's in my car but was getting no power to my amp (my amp's old so it could be that). when i set off to go out, a light came on my dash, it's an engine with a lightening bolt through it and say's check underneath. does anyone have any idea what it could be before i have to pay stupid amounts having a diagnostic tests?

Sounds like you may have blown a fuse when fitting the amp.

Did you wire the amp in? If so, where did you get the power from?
