does anyone know if front seats from any other VWs will fit in with no modification to my lovely 1999 2door polo. eg Golf Mk1 or Sirocco?? Fancy a set of 2nd hand leather seats, but don't want to mess about with the fixings.

mk3 golf seats fit in mk4/mk5 polos

i think corrardo seats fit mk3 polos not sure on anything else

mk1 golf seats will fit into mk3 polos as i had a set of sportline recaros from a mk1 sportline cabby golf fitted into my old G40...

also fitted some corbra recliners in and these were on mk1 golf subframes (and fitted into my mk3 golf and polo)

your best bet as not everyone checks these sectiosn is to look in our photo gallery section...

if you go to the members rides and check out whichever section for your polo (i think its a mk4)

see what seats people are runnign in thier cars and just drop them a pm and ask them how they managed it...

ok - to clarify my polo is 1999 - so its a Mk iii - correct?

its' the same type as atttched one.

Officially, your car is a Mk3, but as far as club polo and most of the UK is concerned, it's a Mk4. So no, Mk1 Golf seats won't fit.
