My Mk2 just seems to be blowing the fan everytime i get out of it but the temp light never comes on. Is this normal or not.

Just a quick answer to put mind at rest would be nice.

Do you do a lot of town driving? If you were doing lots of dual carriageway work or motorway driving then I'd be concerned about the fan being on all the time, but mine comes on most of the time when I'm in traffic jams and the like.

It's normal, mine does it regularly if stood still or in easy-going town traffic.

It's almost satisfying getting out, locking the doors and walking away with the fan still whooshing away, and then turning off automatically.

Sad.

Yep, sounds normal, especially this time of year.

if i park up and turn off the car lock it and the check the doors/boot then walk away and then the fan comes on lol owell i think the car has a mind of her own.
