Right about to buy this polo but have one small problem that I'm sure is nothing but just want to make sure.

Took the car for a spin was perfect not a fault at all but then when i parcked and car was idle there was a slight clicking noise from the engine :s guy said it was something to do with the oil just being changed or something....

anyone know what this noise is about? or it it's anything to worry about?

Might be the tappets after an oil change, but should have settled down within a couple of minutes.

my car did it, it was the hydraulic tappets. when i did the headgasket i took the cam out so the head could be skimmed then when i put it back it got alot quieter, not sure why just did. providing thats what it is then theres not alot to worry about.

what pollo is it? on multi-point mk3s (i.e. GT, G40 and NZ) the injectors are quite noisey.
