i have just bought a 1996 1.6 cl polo and was wondering what engine modifications are worth while and what to get ??? and if any one knows the difference between engines in the 1.6 (75bhp) in the hatchback and the 1.6 (100bhp) in the saloons is ???

i think the 1.6 in the saloon was a tall block motor, and the one in the hatch is a small block
