Featured Replies

well the g/f has got a 16v now, needs a few little bits, but really it could do with a new zorst, i want something not too crazy loud and barry...

BMC filter seems to be the best option for the 16v. Either that or you faff about with the standard air box making it better and adding a panel filter.

Exhausts seem to be quite limited lately. I've gone for a Janspeed full system but its quite loud and tinny. I think this is increased though on my car due to the work thats been done. It will no doubt be quieter on a standard car. The oval tail pipe is quite nice too.

You could get a custom one made too by someone like Powerflow.

£160 shit me, what a crazy price lol

my god, leave the poor car alone LOL

stick to a panel filter and standard exhaust... or a scorpion.. (single pipe round exit) i remember those sounding nice on mk4 16vs...

Panel filter and standard exhaust with midbox removed... All our cars are like that, Polo next on the list lol.

Scorpion exhausts are top quality, and produce a really beautiful highly tuned rasp, my mate has one on his MkII Golf GTi and it makes me cream my panties :unibrow:

This will do it nicely:

But, in reality

a 4 Branch exhaust I think is a decent mod, FUCK spending £160 on a airfilter in a bit of drain pipe!
