On the mk4 they have the little patterned bit along the door cards of some tacky material, I was just wondering how much effort would be needed to cover that in something like leather/suede . ? It's not much material needed so could be done by myself . Anyone with any idea's.

best results sre by retrimming the whole doorcard, with stitching join into that panel.

or cut it out, rtrim then refit back in

I'll be doing the retrimming of my doorcards sometime soon, not VERY soon but in the near future :) So if you still need any advise i could offer it? I've had a look at the fabric and how its connected etc and looks like a simple but fiddly job! I'll go get me a doorcard from the scrappy and try taking it apart and replacing the fabric :)
