does anybody know how much a full respray would cost me on my mk4??

depends on the quality of the job!

most expensive would be to have the car stripped to a rolling shell i.e. just the shell on some wheels - no engine, windows, interior etc dont think you would see much change from 4k

cheapest way would be to mask up windows etc, not spray the door shuts or engine bay and could cost as little as 500!

best thing to do is work out what your budget is and go a see a few bodyshops and see what you will get for your money. other things to consider are paint types as mets and pearls will be a lot more expensive than flat colours. make sure you ask to see examples of the bodyshops work, when you have found one you like make sure you get a written quote to ensure the job doesnt increase in cost as it progresses. i wouldnt advise paying in cash for such a big job as if it goes wrong you have to come back.
