basicaly i have done the GT conversion, was wondering if there is much diiference between the 1.3aav exhaust and the GT exhaust ie diameter? also I've been told i wont get the best performance from the standard system but will it damage the engine if it is smaller fom the one on a GT? cheers joe.

gt ones are a bit bigger, but a aav will run on a gt fine, without too much restricting...

i found my standard AAV exhaust to be very restrictive after doing a GT transplant

was fine upto 4000rpm, but past that the power seemed to drop off

i put a full standard GT exhaust on it and it went great
