pull off the gearstick gaitor at the bottom and just pull it up out of the way(it's only held onto the console by elastic and comes away easily) then gently pull up the gearstick surround (be careful otherwise you'll break clips).

there are 2 plastic bolts under there - undo them.

There is also a screw which you will find right at the back of the cubbyhole in front of the gearstick.

the centre console should then just lift out over the gearstick (might take a bit of twisting and turning, but it'll come out.)

If you want to make life easier for yourself, take one of the front seats out first.
