first of all is the gt hatchback backbox different to the coupe or will it fit ok

also thinking of doing away with the backbox and just have a staight pipe or side exit.will it pass a mot with no backbox and will the gt run ok without one or could it cause problems?

if i remember right, the coupe backbox is shorter than the squares.. so it sits under the car.. some say this is good, others say is bad...

I have a coupe tail section on my square and it tucks away nicely, definately shorter than the original. So I'd say yes a hatchback exhaust will fit your coupe, but stick out a fair bit.

i assumed you had a square / hatch and wanted to know if a coupe one would fit, ... not the other way round! sorry
