I have a central locking problem on my MK5 GTI.

If i press the remote button it disables the alarm and the pump runs for 30secs but the doors do not lock. I swapped the pump in the boot with one i new worked and i still had the same problem. I have checked the air pipe connection on the boot lock and the 2 door locks but everything seems fine.

Any suggestions?

Now my alarm isn't coming on. I have tried any key i know works as well. Is there a fuse that might have blown or something?

not srue if this helps but when i had this on my mk4, a guy came a blew down the blue pipe so give that a try?
