Hi all, i know this may have askedbefore but have looked and can't find anything about it so please help. I have a 1993 red breadvan, its 1993 1.3 and I really want it to be as quick as a GT without changin the engine to the actual GT engine. anyone have any serious suggestions for me, could really do with the help. Well. You could fit the GT injection system on. Get a chip off polo ace, GT cam (or something sportier), different exhaust manifold and exhaust and a Decent enclosed airlifter with a good cold air feed and you'll prolly see near gt power.

Headwork would help a lot too. I know a lad who had a mk3 1.3 spi (KovStarr on here) and he had a poloace chip, induction kit, ported and polished head and a full stainless exhaust with decat.

It flew once it got to about 30mph...

Only thing is - with the cost of buying and insuring all that, would't it be just as well to get a GT?

true but, picked my squareback up for 200 quid few months ago whith 60000 on the clock so was just thinkin stick a few bits on it, have some fun, an sell it on
