Hi all.

New guy here. My lass has a 98 1600cc Polo that has got a lovely noisy gearbox.

My dad and myself have done gearbox rebuilds on other cars but never on a VW.

I was just wondering if anyone had an exploded diagram of the gearbox for refrance.

I have the Haynes Manual (What use it will be) for taking the box off but there is no detail in it about the actual rebuild.

I know all the bearings come as a complete kit so we might aswell do all of them at the same time is my thought.

Afraid I don't know the gearbox code but I expect I could easily get it out of VW.
