my mk3 polo randomly keeps cutting out,it doesnt matter if I've warmed the engine up or not and the car doesnt seem to mind if I'm in the middle of a roundabout or normal straight roads lol,doesnt happen all the time but still... any ideas.

Its a problem with the Throtle Body. One of my mates had the same problem.

The garage that did it said it's a common problem on the 1.6 VW engine and advised to run it on super unleaded for a while after doing what they did.

He didn't say what they had done but from the sound of the price they replcaed the complete unit.

May also be worth checking your fuel filter. I could in theroy produce the same problem.

I was thinking throttle body fault but I'm not so sure.
