crazy headlining

Featured Replies

Ok, realy pissed off with my shabby white, ripped, dirty headlining, so cmon people let's come up with a cheap random replacement!

Might rip off Kam's wood effect lino idea, also someone (POLOMON?) suggested camo netting which you can get @ army surplus shops... Anything else I could use? netting would work as it won't have to be neat!!!

i should be putting some in the square along with a rear seat retrim in the netting :paranoid: god thats going to be hard to keep clean!

one side of velcro so you can have stick stuff with the other side of velcro to you headlining.

Ah love the velcro idea. Can you get velcro in sheets then?!

Smoothing it and painting it crossed my mind but I think its a bit too much work I'm too lazy.

Fake fur might work too. Cheers for the ideas peeps

I reckon somewhere should sell sheet of velcro, may have to make it in strips but i reckon it could be done. Just a crazy idea I had.

Those big inflatable velcro sticky bouncy castle things that you throw yourself at wearing a big suit have massive velcro areas so that might be place to start to find out where they get it from.

Major props if you manage to do it.

You could just get a sheet of felt from Hobbycraft in the colour/s of your choice - the hook side of velcro will stick to that. So you could have a flag that velcro will stick to.

Having the felt would possibly be better than hooks because I know for a fact I'd be ripping hair out every time I got out

ohh now that would hurt! Hooks.. ha ha! :p

Good luck with a crazy idea

Could get expensive, this idea...

But I'm gonna do it. No ifs or buts. ONCE the engine's in

LOL I just remembered I have velcro on my number plates so I can swap em over if I get pulled (touch wood)..

Looks like it's gonna be hooks on the roof, loops on random shit (plates have made the decision) haha

its some where to put you map and glasses and plates and shiz lol velcro it to the headlinking thats a great idea lol

put thin plywood instead of the headliner, but get some gangstas to graffiti it properly, would look the shit

Lay strips of modelling wood up,like the hull of a boat, would weigh nothing. Or wicker - as I've used for my parcel shelf.

Astro-turf?

Astro-turf?

Thats possibly the best idea ever! Where can you get some?

Edit: You think that it'd look ok in a white car or just totally outta place?

we trimmed my mates in black suede. Matches his interior nicely and looks factory. Shame he's still got grey sun visors and that! lmao. So we removed the sun visors, looks loads nicer.

Not at sunrise,it dont..
