Are the throttle cables all the same on mk3s or do you need a different one for different models? Sounds a bit daft but I don't want to use the wrong one if its different.

I don't have etka or anything so I can't check the part numbers.

I'm fairly sure they are all the same. Just make sure you use the G40 throttle cable bracket which bolts to the top of the inlet manifold though.

same across the range cost about £12 but they took 10 days to get it ,VAG that is

Just the one I have on the square at the min is mint and I didn't want to change it unless it needed changing!

Yeah it's just the GT and G40 have a different bracket on the inlet manifold for it.
