Right, I'm guessing the 6N2 dash is just a variation of the Lupo dash. Or vice versa. Anyway, the Lupo one does not come with a glove box, just has a big tray that runs the whole width of the car. Even through the bastard centre console! Means you can't have anything hidden away or anything small (like lose change) in it because it just goes all over the palce. Where as the 6N2 one has the coin tray and the glove box.

Basically I want to know how much I'd looking to pay for the bottom half of a 6N2 dash? Or even the whole thing if I had to. Also does the 6n2 glove box have a key operated lock on it? Can you get locks made to suit a key? I wouldn't really want to have two differnt locks in the car just because of the dashboard.

Yeah the 6n2 dash does have a key-locking glovebox, and i would imagine that you could get a lock made to your key. Though it could be quite expensive.

And i can't see the dash being cheap, unless you can find one at a breakers/scrappy. Surely there must be a number of possible dash conversions, even in a car that size? I presume no-one on the lupo forum can be of use?

I hate how some manufacturers make a really shitty, pointless, useless dash thats not good for anything.

Theres a few dashes I could use but I like the one thats in it minus the lack of space. So for ease and OEMness it would be easiest to fit a 6N2 one. I know they fit together and my mate had one but it was out of a crashed Polo GTI and it was bent as fuck. But he says they mate up perfectly.

I may pikey mod the lock to house some kind of badge or something. Cause I'm not arsed about it locking, but if locks can be made up cheap then I would do that. If not I'll get around it! Just want the out of sight storage space!
