Just a quick question how do you remove a set of clocks from the dashboard in a mk4 polo? Does the steering wheel need to be removed?

But basically (depending on the year i'm guessing?) theres two screws on the under side of the plastic trim. Remove the trim and then you'll be able to see two screws on either side of the clocks (its dark get a torch :p) remove them being VERY careful not to drop into the dashboard and then pull out and take the wireing out of the back :)

Adjusting the steering wheel so its lower is good enough for me :).

Cheers for that didnt see this till now but it was a easy job but now the airbag light is permanantly on i'll get vag com on it had to remove the wheel to get the clocks out :)
