right on the way home from the bluewater meet on wed, i was driving back down the m25 heading home when my mate pulled up beside me in his 1.8 t golf droped a cog a went so i thought to my self hell why not. Droped to 4th my self held it to just befor the redline went to change to 5th but the car would just not come out of 4th!!!! so i slowed down to try again but still nothing.... decided didnt wanna pull over on the m25 got the car off at the next exit wich was godstone managed to roll the car to the nearist well light area (shell petol station). poped the bonnet had a pear down the back and the whole selecter housing has snapped of the back of the gear box!!!!!!!!

has any one else ever had this problem is so how much and how hard is it to change????
