Just got a 1 litre 6n with blown engine and also a 1600 AEE engine and most of the ancillaries with it to slot in and provide a bit more "go"

My question is-What parts will i need to change and which parts will i get away with keeping?

I've got a Haynes manual in the post, but until it gets here-any advice will be good!

Can anyone give me some ideas on this please?

I think all I'm missing from the AEE engine is te ECU and loom, would this be just a case of plug and play like the earlier Polos?

I'm guessing all the other components. Eg, starter, alternator etc will be the same wiring as the 1 litre.

Will the fuel delivery from the 1 litre pump be sufficient for the 1600?

Someone here must have uprated their 1000cc engine for something with a bit more vavavoom!

Seem to recall someone posting on here a while ago; anywho, think they needed a different fuel pump, don't quote me on it though. Pretty certain you will though. (wait for someone more knowledgable though)
