Pic request - interior wiring loom

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I need a picture from under the dashboard of a Mk3.

There are three plugs on the back of the fusebox, behind the glovebox in the passenger footwell. These are just above the wiper relays and diagnostic plugs.

There's a long black one, a square (ish) white one and another smaller black one in a row.

What I need is a picture (as close up as possible, so you may need to flick your camera to macro mode) of the white plug and any fixings holding it to the back of the fusebox.

A picture of the back of the interior part of the fusebox would also be handy I guess, if anyone's got one out of the car.

I'm trying to work out if mine is missing a clip.

You may need to remove the shelf under your glovebox to get a decent picture, so this is possibly a good one for someone who has a stripped out dash or has their car in bits.

Cheers! :D

Anyone? Please?

All the plugs under my dash plug directly in the pictured sockets, no clips. Only items clipped into place are two seperate relay blocks. Would take pic for you but just two dark and have no lighting or decent camera (using an old moblie phone for above pic)

May get the loan of one tomorrow if no other pics go up for you!

Hope this is of some help

That's spot on, exactly what I was after! Answers my question exactly!

There'd been some speculation as to whether the posts on either side were supposed to have a clip on them to hold it in place which had snapped off on mine. My hunch was that they were fine, but poorly moulded, and it looks like I was right! :D

Thanks! :D

Pleased pic helped.

Yes those "posts" seem to be moulded as guides as opposed to clips.
