Just a quick (prob silly) question , title says it all really.

After going in and finding halfords doesn't have my paint colour in (LD5D), I have looked on the net, obviously to find alot of options,

do you buy it ready mixed from shops or is it preferalbe to order it in using your code from a site?

Also any recs on decent sites/prices would be great. :-D

I get my paint mixed up from a local bodyshop, they can do it in tins or spray cans. I gave them the filler cap last time I needed paint mixed up (didn't know the paint code) and the next day I picked up 4 cans of spray paint in the exact colour for £25. Not too bad I don't think!

Autopaint International have branches all over the place. I get my paint from the one near my work in huddersfield. Just tell them your paint code.

You can get it in tins for use in proper spraying equipment or they will mix it and put it into aerosols for you. If you just buy tins then they generally do it there and then but I suppose you may have to pre-order and call back for aerosols, not too sure as I've never actually ordered aerosol.

My local motor factor mixes up the paint, all you have to do is give them the code. Try one near you
