hi,

my car was ideling at about 900rpm and was a bit juddery when stationary, so i cleaned the throttle body out and now idles fine. But when i first startup it revs up to 2000rpm itself and then settles back down to 1000rpm and stays there, and i've also noticed some other little problems after cleaning the TB when i'm driving and when i let go of the accelerator completely after a short while the car judders back and forth really quickly while moving and finally when i switch the car off i get the car juddering a lot. What is causing these problems my epc light is on and i have a faulty lambda probe which needs to replaced, could it be anything related to this?

i had this problem myself after cleaning my Tb had the high revving and juddering after accelrating etc..

the TB needs resetting back to its basic settings after its been cleaned, i got mine reset at a local vw specialist cost me £20 or VW do it for £40 + vat!! after having this done mine now runs sweet as a nut :-)

or if you know anybody with VAG-COM get them to do it for you

I used vagcom on mine to reset the throttle body but it seems to still do it, has anyone got anymore suggestions?
