Blue temp sender? Is it alright till its warmed up slightly?

Would have said ignition timing, but if it's alright after a wee while I don't know.

When you say 50 yards - do you really mean 50 yards ? - as in start the car, drive off immediately - 50 yards later the misfire is gone ? Time-wise how long are we talking from startup to misfire ending ? - and does it only do it when the engine is cold ?

yes it only does it when cold and missfire lasts for about 1 minute.

I'd say replace the blue temp sender for sure. They are £6 or so from GSF I think.

Buy a multimeter and do a search on the forum for beavis's engine diagnostic guide. It'll cost you 6 quid from maplins and you can test all sorts of things.

ok i will ask him thanx
