the mis-fire is really noticeable now since fitting........

268 Schrick cam

chip from Hardhitter

..

halfords dizzy cap? shame on you! :-p It had a new beru one on there a couple of years back. Anyway, seeing as it's at 2000rpm i'm thinking possibly too advanced. What fuel are you running it on?

I'd go back to basics, fit a known good dizzy; stock GT AFM; check cam timing (as per Schrick) and ignition timing (stock). Make sure you redo the ignition timing after timing up the cam. How healthy is the fuel system? Were the Halfords ignition bits the same as the OEM ones?

Halfords Dizzy Cap and Rotor arm i had that problem till i went to vw and got one
