Is there any usual places it gets in. My rear o/s footwell was like a pond after the wet weather at the weekend. Nowhere else around it is wet atall.

i found that my water was coming in through the ariel grommet in the engine bay. it was running down the arch and the ariel was touching and so the water ran down the ariel wire and through the rubber and down to the carpet.
