Hi,

I've just taken off the door bumper strips off my 6n and some of the paint that was under the stripes is faded for some reason! Has anyone else had this problem? and can i just spray over it or will it look naf?

Appreciate any advice :-D

erm... a pic mayeb?but you cn try maguiers scratch remover (worked for me and got rid of the water marks) and if that doesent work... maybe get a decent garage to respray that area as doing it yourself on such a big area can look gash

where can i get that stuff from? Halfords?...

T-cut. If you've removed the side strip,the paint underneath wont match the rest of the door,and it'll need a thorough going-over with some paint restorer. T-cut usually works very well.

It'd help if we knew if it was metallic or solid paint though,as metallic is covered in clear laquer - which makes restoring the paint underneath a bit tricky.
