Been looking at Golf engine blocks as can't seem to find the right polo engine.

Any 1 know if they as much work? Just looking at 1400cc engine until I can source a bigger engine

I've always wondered how hard it would be to put a mk3 gti engine in a mk4 polo? or if it would be worth it...

I do believe the only Golf engine that is a direct swap is the 1.4 ABD from the Mk3 (maybe a tdi into a diesel mk4 but I can imagine the turbo would take up too much space). A Mk3 GTI engine won't go in without mods.

I had a 2.0 16v Gti mk3 engine in my mark 4 for a bit....it was more hassle than it was worth tbh guys!!!

It took us couple of weeks to get it all done, but we had to fabricate mounts, etc etc... and after all that the Power : Weight was a bit poo.... really wouldn't bother!!
